Irrigation Water Analysis

Irrigation Water Analysis indicates if the water is suitable for farming. Irrigation water can contain a wide range of chemical and biological contaminants, including high sodium that can be detrimental to your soil, heavy metals, and faecal coliform bacteria for example.

High level of salts in the irrigation water reduces water availability to the crop (because of osmotic pressure) and causes yield reduction. The most common parameters used for determining the irrigation water quality, in relation with its salinity, are EC and TDS.

We offer comprehensive analysis, including full chemistry, heavy metals, physical and microbiological analysis.

The results are compared against international Food and Agriculture Health Organization guide lines for irrigation water quality, so that you can see which parameters are high and need further action and/or caution.
